As promised! This video is a thank you to all those who watched the video and contributed to the return of Zakira the Cheetah back to Running Wild Conservation. The fundraiser began back in Nov 2020 and ran through Jan 2021.

I thank you personally. Zakira left as a cub with her father as part of a breeders agreement and two years later the plan of bringing her back came to fruition. She can now be trained to hunt like her two twin brothers are doing and one day be released into the wild. RWC wants to breed her and released her into this wild with her cubs. I provided the deficit of the funds needed to bring Zakira home as we did not reach the necessary goal of $10,000 needed to purchase her from her owners. My contribution was about half after combining all fundraisers from RWC and my efforts. In return, RWC has agreed to provide space and care for my two cheetahs and place them into the enrichment, breeding and hunting program there. A bargain for me and the cheetahs! It was a noble goal and promise for all these cheetahs futures.

I hope to return soon to South Africa to personally see to the move of my cheetahs to RWC and provide support for their transition to a new and wonderful place for cheetahs. Thanks...
