Salt Seas Beneath Enceladus (17edo space music)

Some xenharmonic / microtonal music in 17 tone equal temperament about a fascinating snowball orbiting amongst Saturn's magnificent rings. While the surface is frigid and sterile, Enceladus is thought to harbor a saline ocean beneath its icy exterior; an ocean that has all of the essential ingredients for life as we know it.

The sounds for this piece were created using Steinberg's Halion 7 synth/sampler. I went pretty heavy on the FM Lab VST for this one.

Thanks to @astrumspace for making a great video on this moon. Having some cool space footage to look at really helped the creative process along.
