The eyes are the windows to the soul… and a lot of other things. Looking into somebody’s eyes is a great way to tell how they’re feeling or what they might be thinking. They’re one of the first features a person notices and for a good reason. This can apply to meeting someone for the first time as well as the people you already know. For example, if you’re on a date with a man and you’re looking just about everywhere but directly into his eyes, then this is a fairly good indication that you aren’t interested in him. But, let’s say that you’re holding eye contact; this means that you are interested in what he’s talking about and how he looks. So, it’s no surprise that guys pay attention to your eyes. You might not notice when you’re making eye contact with your man or looking him up and down, but, he sure will! Knowing that you’re looking at him and enjoying his appearance will boost his confidence, and let him know that you might be looking for some intimacy. He can also tell if you’re sad or happy by paying attention to your eyes. If you’re staring down at your feet or your eyes are glossy, then it could mean that you’re upset. If your eyes are wide and you’re “smizing,” as Tyra Banks would say, then you’re most likely happy or excited.

One of the most significant things men pay attention to is your body language. You might not notice the change yourself. But, a man will, and it changes what he’ll do and how he interacts with you. Body language is something most of us use without giving it a second thought. It’s something that we do naturally. One of the most telling signs that you’re not interested in being around him is if you’re facing away from him. You could be sitting down and looking at him with your knees turned the opposite direction; it implies that you want to go somewhere else. However, if you’re sitting with your whole body pointed in his direction, then you’re probably enjoying his company and would like to continue the conversation. Another thing he’ll notice about your body language is if you’re an animated person. If you talk with your hands and make a lot of gestures while you’re saying something, then it’s a telltale sign. Body language can also project how you’re feeling. If you’re sitting with your legs crossed, arms crossed, and head down, then that usually says you’re uncomfortable, nervous, or sad. Your man will notice this too, whereas you probably do it without trying. Simple gestures can also let him know if you’re flirting with him. If the two of you are on a date and you’re fiddling with your hair or lightly touching your wine glass, then it’s indicative of flirtation.
