11. Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road

Another stunning road is one that runs through Jebel Hafeet mountain in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was built in 1980 and runs for over seven miles up the mountain, rising to three thousand nine hundred feet. At the top of the pathway, there’s a hotel, parking lot, and a palace that belongs to the rulers of the country. But, the road isn’t only traveled by people in vehicles. Bicyclists regularly use the roadway for training. Plus, the view as you’re trekking up the winding route is stunning, and the scenery is enhanced once you make it to the summit. From atop the formation, you can see the entire surrounding area because it is the only mountain in the city. There are attractions at the bottom of the mountain as well, including a park, hot springs, and a geyser.

10. The Atlantic Road

This beautiful roadway is located in Norway that connects the island of Averoya and small surrounding islands to the mainland. It is just over five miles long. Driving on the Atlantic Road allows for some of the most stunning views of the ocean because there is nothing blocking your sight on either side. It’s almost like the pathway is in the middle of the water. The road is just twenty-one feet wide and has four rest areas and eight bridges. Plus, it includes several tourist stops, including scuba diving resorts, fishing areas, and restaurants. Back in 2009, the Atlantic Road was ninth in the line of the most visited attractions in Norway, and it was awarded the title of “Norwegian Construction of the Century” in 2005 by the Norwegian construction industry.
