Dombay Walking Tour 4K ski resort in the Caucasus

The ski area of the Dombay resort is located at altitudes of 1630-3168 meters.

The resort has 12 ski slopes (of which 5 are main) with a total length of 25 kilometers. These are areas on the southwestern slope of Mount Mussa-Achitara, and they are suitable for skiing by skiers and snowboarders of different skill levels.

Trails of all difficulty levels are announced: green, blue, red, black. Although there is no real black track, as such: the red one turns into it when it is not wasted.

The so-called “paddling pool”, where beginners are just learning to skate, is located on the Dombay meadow itself. But the main routes for full skiing are concentrated on a wide plateau at an altitude of 2500-3000 meters. There are amateur blue-green areas here. The blue-red route is for more advanced ones, laid underneath them. And extreme skiers prefer the lower wooded part of the resort, where they can hone their skills.

At the moment, the resort's trail capacity is up to 200,000 people per year.
