Visiting the Pyramids of Giza was a dream. Going inside one of the Pyramids was an opportunity I did not know was possible and was hard to pass up.
I did not realize how scary it would feel until I got halfway inside on the one-lane walking path for people going in and others heading out.
Flashback for the flashback: my mom took me to see the #KingTut exhibit as a little kid and that is when I first learned about pyramids, Egypt and Kings of Africa.
That Dream Faded for many years and then in 1998, a friend gifted me a book before I went on a vacation. The book is called “The Alchemist” by @paulocoelho and slowly and that dream resurfaced.
The Opportunity arrived in a wedding 💒 invitation to Cairo, Egypt 🇪🇬
Coming soon Masks 🎭 made with youth in the community.
