Let’s get started

Step 1: create your digital product

Digital products are any product which comes in a file format.

So to create your digital product, just go to your WordPress dashboard.

go to ’products’ and click ‘add new’ and then enter the product name

Now to make this product as a ‘digital product’

Enable ‘downloadable option’.

And click ‘add file’ to add your product file.

Once you add the product file,

Add your product image and then click ‘publish’ to create your digital product.

Once you’ve created the digital product

You can go to step 2

Step 2: how you can remove address fields from the checkout page

Since we’re adding a digital product, it’s not necessary for the customers to enter their address here.

As it can be directly downloaded from your website.

So to remove the address fields, you need to install a plugin in WordPress

Now to install a plugin, just go to your dashboard and go to plugins and click ‘add new’

Now search for a plugin called ‘Digital goods’ and once you’ve got the plugin

Click ‘install’ and then activate.

Once you’ve installed the plugin

Just click on the text

And then select the fields which you want to remove from the checkout page

If you’re using Instamojo payment method on your e-commerce website

Just deselect ‘Billig phone’

And click ‘save changes’

And your address fields will be removed.

Now your customer can download the digital product from your website,

once they purchase it.

Now your digital product can be downloaded by your customers as many times they want.

So to limit the number of downloads, you need to set the download limit for your digital product.

Next, let’s see how you can set the download limit for your digital product

So to do that, just open your digital product

And then enter the number of downloads in the download limit option

And click ‘update’.

Once you’ve set the download limit.

Your digital product will be downloaded only for limited times.
