10 Strongest Kids In The World

Most kids are happy to just be regular kids, playing with their friends and doing everything they can to stay up as late as possible without their parents knowing. Then again, some kids strive for greatness from an early age and aren’t interested in the same things as other kids. That’s the route that these 10 strongest kids in the world took, being able to show up fully grown adults who have trained all of their lives in order to be the very best that they can be.

Number 10. Liam Hoekstra

Liam Hoekstra had to overcome a lot in his early life. He was born prematurely and was given up for adoption soon after that. Liam suffers from a condition known as myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy. He is able to pack on 50% more muscle than other, average People. His condition is rare and was only first discovered in 2000. At 5 months old Liam could support his own weight easily and was able to perform an iron cross move, which is simply astounding. His parents first noticed something was off about Liam, at least compared to other kids, when they found out he had a ridiculous appetite and ate stupid amounts of food without ever getting too full or packing on the pounds. Instead of suffering from medical problems because of his premature birth, Liam was able to turn his life around and physically outperform everyone in his weight class, no problem at all. We don’t know much about the kid, but hope he keeps himself together, although we’re sure we don’t have anything to worry about, considering the fact that he’s a real-life superhero, complete with superhuman strength as his signature superpower. Not very many people throughout all of human history have been able to make that claim, with most of us just plodding through life while trying our best to stay in shape.

Number 9. Andrey Kostash

Andrey is able to do 6,000 pushups in a row, nonstop. Andrey was able to do 4,000 pushups in a row by the time he was seven, completing them all in 2 hour and 29 minutes. He had been training since he was 5 and had dedicated two full years towards the goal of challenging himself to do as many pushups in a row as possible. He broke a record in Ukraine, where he lives and is managed by his father. He was disappointed, however, because his actual personal best was closer to 6,000, according to Andrey and his father. We don’t know what makes a 5 year old decide to challenge himself to this extent. Hopefully Andrey is able to keep up the drive to succeed and we really hope that all this strain on his body doesn’t end up taking its toll, as it does with so many child athletes. 6,000 push ups is nothing short of a miracle in our books. In fact, it’s the pinnacle of athletic prowess if we’ve ever seen it. Andrey’s approach is actually worth following, as it seems like he’s a fairly well-rounded athlete to begin with. His mix of martial arts and gymnastics is sure to keep him in shape, both mentally and physically, with his pushup prowess only being something he does for fun.

Number 8. Maryana Naumova

Maryana Naumova is definitely not like other teenagers. She hails from Russia and is considered by many people to be the strongest teenager in the entire world, which is quite the title. When she was 15 she managed to bench press 331 pounds at the Arnold Classic, also known as the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival. This was the first time anyone under the age of 18 was even allowed to compete at the event, making it quite the occasion. The festival includes a variety of categories, including bodybuilding, strongman, fitness, and figure. In total she managed to set 15 records by the time she was 18 and has received some pretty high praise for her achievements. Turns out she’s got some skeletons in her closet, however, and it could be that she had a little extra help getting to where she is. In 2016 she was disqualified from participating in the SSP Nutrition Pro Raw Bench after it was found that she had failed a doping test. This resulted in her being suspended from professional lifting for two years and it remains to be seen if she’ll be able to eventually bounce back from the hit.
