Fixing a Dead Cordless Rotary Tool

We at Driveway Dudes believe in recycling and repurposing so in this video instead of recycling it Paul fixes a dead cordless rotary tool.

He repurposes rechargeable batteries removed from a no longer useable vape mod (damaged charge port) and builds a battery pack.

Follow the video and you will see that is is not difficult at all.

It is recommended that the same type of batteries are used to make up a battery pack. Please do not mix and match as using the incorrect batteries may produce unforeseen problems.

We tested the replacement batteries and found them to be good for purpose.

Two of the eight original rotary tool batteries will be recycled whilst the remaining six may be used in a future project.
