How to Easily Replace an Apple MacBook Battery Yourself

In this video Driveway Dudes Paul shows you how to easily replace an Apple MacBook Battery in a mid 2010 MacBook model A1342. It is working without any issues other than the battery that would not charge.

Only tools needed are a small philips screwdriver for the 8 back casing screws and 3 of the 6 securing the battery and a small blade screwdriver for the 3 TP or Y type screws also securing the battery.
The same may apply to other models.

The Macbook battery has a life expectancy of around 4 years or between 500 - 1000 charge cycles (depending on usage and model)

This replacement battery was purchased online and shipped for less than €25 or the equivalent in your local currency.
