M8 Pedestrian Bridge Lift at Showcase Leisure Park

The A8 trunk road was closed at 20:00 on Saturday 15/10/2016 to allow the final section of footbridge linking the new M8 cyclepath with the Showcase Leisure Park to be lifted into place.

The lift started at 22:00 on the dot and took a mere 19 minutes until the section was resting on its new supports.
