HOW TO MAKE SURE 2021 ISN’T LIKE 2020| future on YouTube, giving up, investing in yourself

NEW YEAR NEW ME! hahahah sike. Wow, what a year... I bet we all can't wait to have this year behind us but lets not leave without learning a few things... If you have a moment, comment something that you learned this year! Would love to hear yall's hearts and how we can all do better come 2021!

OKAY NOW WE ARE HERE FOR SOME ENCOURAGEMENT! I'm honestly a bit lost on what to say because I feel like this video says it all... But Here is what I have. (wait,. what do I have? haha) Okay back on track. I think it's important to know that God cares MORE about what happens inside of us than what happens outside of us. Yes, God cares about our health, Yes God provides for us. Yes, God wants to protect you. With that said, I feel like a year like this can hit us and we all of a sudden feel like God isn't there. he isn't listening. He doesn't care. I'm guilty of that... But honestly, I stopped feeling sorry for myself and started asking questions and seeking help. I came to realize that despite my external hardships, God was still working internally. He was confirming that yes, things are good but when a good thing becomes an ultimate thing, that is an idol. Food can be an idol... Relationships can be an idol. Comfort can be an idol. The brand clothes you have can be an idol... As we have the things that we cling too are stripped away we can really see what we love. Is the striping away revealing a heart for God? Or a heart for something else? In this past year God was working in my heart and on my heart to make sure that He sits down on the throne in my heart. I know this sounds super heavy and deep but I want to encourage yall that there is so much more than just external things. Some of the saddest people I have ever met are the wealthiest... Some of the more successful people I have met are the loneliest.. There is more to life than just having everything around you go well, but there are things on the inside we need to focus on and invest in. Let us not forget or neglect them.
