Pecan Tart | Weekly Bakes

Pecan Tart is the PERFECT dessert to make on the holidays. These are entirely savory—buttery, tender, flaky and slightly tangy from the cream cheese—making a rich base that complements the sweet and gooey pecan filling.

Ingredients:
Cream Cheese Pastry
1 cup unsalted butter (room temp.)
6 ounces cream cheese (room temp.)
2 tbsp granulated white sugar
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
Pecan Filling:
3 large eggs at room temperature
1 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1- 2 cups of coarsely chopped pecans
