Healthy Brownies
Today I'm going to show you how to make healthy brownies.
These low calorie brownies are the real deal, super fudgy and packed with delicious chocolate flavor.
I don't use any oil or butter in this recipe, just applesauce and pumpkin puree.

HEALTHY BROWNIES RECIPE
(makes 9 brownies)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup ground oats or oat flour (50g)
1 tbsp tapioca or cornstarch
1/3 cup cocoa powder (35g)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pumpkin spice or cinnamon powder
1/4 cup agave, maple syrup or honey (60ml)
1 egg
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce (65g)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 oz dark chocolate, melted (50g)
1 cup pumpkin puree (250g)
NUTRITIONAL INFO (per brownie):
100 calories, fat 2.8g, carb 18.7g, protein 2.6g
HOMEMADE PUMPKIN SPICE:
4 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp ginger, 1 tsp cloves, 1 tsp allspice
Preparation:
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients, ground oats, cornstarch, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt and pumpkin spice.
In another bowl, using a mixer, beat the egg with your liquid sweetener for 1 minute, until foamy.
Add the applesauce, vanilla extract, melted dark chocolate, pumpkin puree and continue mixing until it's well combined.
Sift the dry ingredients into the wet, and gently mix just until the flour is incorporated, no more that that.
Pour the batter in a prepared baking sheet and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for at 350°F (180°C) for 20 minutes.
Let it cool completely cool, then slice into 9 individual pieces and serve.
Enjoy!
