Geoff Bodenham - Live (1983)

Geoff Bodenham was known as a teacher, councillor, publican, and also a folk singer. He was well known for his two album releases 'A Class of his Own' & 'Two sides of Geoff Bodenham' as well as Radio and Television appearances, and for being half of the duo 1812 alongside flautist Derek Craft.

This recording is of a live show that took place in 1983, the exact date, location and occasion are unclear however it can be inferred from the content this did not take place at the Lion O'Morfe in Bridgnorth. There are records to it being recorded for an LP, though I can find no information of if it ever actually made it to release.

This album is hosted here by kind permission of Helen & Joan Bodenham, the purpose is to help preserve the work and memory of Geoff Bodenham for those who knew him, and the English Folk community at large on which he left an indelible mark.
