Dekatron counter
A short video on an early counting device from the 1950/60s known as a Dekatron. These are similar to Nixi tubes in that they are neon filled but have pins rather than numbers. There is also a cleaver use of gas plasma behaviour to effectively make the device a counter with a clocking frequency.
