Testing a Photo Multiplier Tube
Playing with Photo Multiplier tube here on an external supply of 900V. This tube has a large window and 11 Dynodes making it quite a sensitive. Also include a demonstration of very low energy x-rays being produced at 8.8keV. This was surprising, an acceleration voltage this low it can be found in Oscilloscopes CRTs, whereas old television CRTs use 15kV and 25kV.
