New 2023 Toyota Hilux Extreme Off-road Flagship Pickup Truck

The Japanese car manufacturer Toyota presented the extreme off-road concept Hilux at the recently ended Auto Expo 2023. The exhibition model is equipped with an advanced off-road setup to emphasize its all-round capabilities.

Toyota has used a 6-inch lift kit to improve the famous truck's already high ground clearance for this concept model. Ground clearance is increased thanks to a special long-travel off-road suspension and specially designed wishbones. Huge 37-inch Radar Renegade R/T rugged off-road tires are offered with the concept.

Any experienced off-roader will agree that the four tires mounted on his truck are not enough, which is why he also mounted two spare tires on the rear. With the Hilux Extreme Offroad Concept you certainly won't run out of tires. Once again, this truck has a lot of tow hooks.

Receive an off-road specific bumper with roof rack, snorkel, winch, skid plate and auxiliary LED lights. Instead of the traditional bumper at the rear, a strong piece with a trailer hitch was installed. Spare wheels take up the entire trunk of the truck, so the automaker has given the Extreme Offroad Hilux a roof rack to secure your belongings. The one on display at Auto Expo 2023 is used to store barrels.

A 2.8-liter diesel engine with 201 hp and 500 Nm is available for the Toyota Hilux. Both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission are available for the engine. It includes an electronic differential lock, a limited slip differential, active traction control and all-wheel drive.
