60163 Tornado + 67012 On The Belmond British Pullman 4th November 2016

On a damp and dismall 4th November 2016 The Belmond ran the usual "Belmond British Pullman" from London Victoria via Staines, Woking, Shalford and Redhill back to London Victoria with LNER A1 Class 4-6-2 Steam Locomotive number 60163 "Tornado" in charge with DBC Diesel Locomotive 67012 at the rear. The train running as 1Y82 left Victoria an unusually 24 minutes early yet I witnessed the train at Wandsworth Town running bang on booked time and again the train gained time and ran through West Byfleet 19 minutes ahead of schedule. I captured the train again as she left Shalford at the Shalford East Lane Level Crossing on booked time after her water stop. The weather was pretty wet but what do we expect for November. "Tornado" looked and behaved fabulous throughout and again my regards and thanks to all involved in the running of this superb train.
