Blood filled EAR PIMPLE POPPED to assist removing Keratosis Obuturan from Ear Canal - #338

Ear wax removal is necessary when ear wax build up becomes impacted. Symptoms causes by earwax blockage include: earache (otalgia), conductive hearing loss, blocked ear, tinnitus, itchiness and irritation, occlusion etc.

The client in this procedure actually suffers from Keratosis Obturan, which is a collection of dead shedded skin in the ear canal. Typically, dead skin naturally migrates outwards and out of the ear. In addition, there was a large blood filed ear pimple (i.e. furuncle) near the entrance of the ear canal which was further preventing the natural migration of the dead skin out of the ear.
I initially attempted to remove the dead skin without disturbing the ear pimple. However, the ear pimple was simply too large and I had no option but to ‘pop’ it to allow the safe removal of the dead skin. Upon removing the ear pimple and keratosis obturan, a healthy and intact eardrum was visible.
