Why Investigators Say Woman’s Husband Orchestrated Her Death
Teresa Sievers was a respected doctor in Bonita Springs, Florida, who was known for her outgoing personality. Her husband, Mark, was the manager of her practice. Together, the couple had two young daughters and a bright future ahead of them. But in June 2015, Sievers was killed after being struck 17 times in the head with a hammer. Now, after four hours of deliberations, a jury has found Mark Sievers guilty of first-degree murder in his wife's death. Her family was overcome with emotion.
