Barcelona's Yamine Lamal becomes youngest-ever La Liga scorer
At just 16 years and 38 days old, Yamine Lamal has become the youngest player to score in La Liga after starting for Barcelona against Granada and netting in the first half of their 2-2 draw. The teenage winger got Barça's first goal as they fought back from 2-0 down, with Sergi Roberto scoring the second.

The previous record was held by Fabrice Olinga who scored for Malaga against Celta Vigo aged 16 years and 98 days in 2012. Lamal has also become Barcelona's youngest-ever scorer. 'When we see that a player can help the team, we give him the opportunity,' said Barça’s coach, Xavi Hernández. 'Lamine is helping us a lot and making a difference. He scored an important goal.'
