Langkawi is an archipelago made up of 99 islands on Malaysia’s northwest coast. Surrounded by turquoise of the Andaman sea, nature lovers will find the island just as agreeable as the shoreline is fringed by powder-fine sand and swaying coconut trees.

Langkawi Island is also known as the jewel of kedah and it is located 30 km off the Malaysia coast.

In this this trip (the first trip to Langkawi after lockdown) I want to see first hand what the island looks like after the covid19 lockdown.

Buses are already operating from TBS bus terminal (Kuala Lumpur) to Kuala Perlis which takes 8 hours drive, then from there the ferry operates from 8 AM to 4 PM which takes an hour ride to Langkawi Ferry Terminal.

Once you approached the Langkawi Ferry Terminal, you will start feeling the wonders of this island, from afar you can see the Eagle Square which represents the island as the main landmark.

Pantai Cenang also known as Cenang Beach is just about 30 minutes drive from Eagle Square.

Pantai Cenang is Langkawi main landmark beach and top attraction. White sand and palm trees mixed with turquoise sea make it the perfect destination for holidays, honeymoon and relaxation place.

Langkawi has one of the best pristine beaches in the world, namely Pantai Cenang, Tanjung Rhu, Datai Bay and Pantai Kok without forgetting the Black Sand Beach.

From the expansive Underwater World Langkawi along Pantai Cenang to the soaring Cable Car in Pantai Kok, Langkawi is an electrifying locale that keeps visitors coming back for more

Those who like to visit Wildlife parks, you can spend your afternoon at Langkawi Bird Paradise Wildlife Park, or go to the Terjung, Seven Wells, and Durian Waterfalls.

The Langkawi mangrove is one of the best mangrove you will ever visit, if that is not enough for you you can go for Langkawi island hopping, where you can see the fresh water lake between the rocks, the maiden pregnant lady and many more islands while transiting by Eagles feeding.
