Severe Stomach Pain + Bloating 2-week Recovery Plan | IBS Flare-Up Healing
2-WEEK EMERGENCY IBS HEALING GUIDE
After an unexpected IBS flare-up during a very clean diet let me know that my gut lining must be damaged (this came with stomach pain and horrible bloating), I went on a combined low-FODMAP diet and GAPS diet to start healing my gut and calm down my symptoms.

WEEK 1:
Following the GAPS introductory phase, I had only chicken broth with some cooked veggies and meat for the first 2 days. Once I started feeling better, I incorporated raw veggies juice and raw berry juice, and by the end of the week I was feeling good enough to have whole berries, smoothies, and heartier soups (blended veggies soups with healthy fats). I also did a sea salt flush and enema to help speed up my healing.
WEEK 2:
I felt so much better by the second week, so I moved on to adding a small amount of raw veggies to the mix, and most people can start adding in seeds, sprouted nuts, and free-range eggs at this point too, but since I've had trouble with those foods in the past I wanted to wait longer before re-introducing them.
