Daisy the Cocker Spaniel Puppy - 3 Weeks Residential Dog Training

Daisy the 5 month old Cocker Spaniel has completed her 3 week residential training holiday

Daisy is a super friendly girl and her owners love that about her, but she had started to bark at other dogs and trying to pull towards them to go and play

During Daisy’s training, she has learnt how to stay calm as dogs pass instead of barking, whining and pulling towards them. Daisy has also learnt how to have short greetings instead of expecting play and can return from dogs when called which was the biggest focus of her stay.

Daisy has also learnt all basic cues so her owners now have ways of communicating with her to help and guide her through stressful situations.

In the home, Daisy has also learnt to settle on a bed and just stay calm instead of looking to constantly be occupied, Daisy can now run to her bed on cue and relax on her own or with a chew and her owners can get on with their everyday tasks like working from home.

Alongside this, Daisy has also learnt better manners on the lead as well as more focus. She had lots of freedom from a young age so the lead was a weird concept for her, so we have worked on a really strong foundation for Daisy’s lead walking so her owners can continue to build on this and set her up for success!
