Welcome to a special real time video as we celebrate 20 YEARS of marriage with a bucket list event that we have wanted to do since we first got married - camping at a NASCAR race!

This is the adventure that brought us across the whole country from Ouray, Colorado, for the 4th of July all the way to Atlanta, Georgia, in 3 days! 😳

A huge thank you to NASCAR for inviting us to come and stay at the Geico Premium Trackside Terrace Campground at the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Cup Series Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart and the Xfinity Credit Karma Money 250!

We didn’t realize until we arrived that camping for the weekend at a race is 4 days of family friendly events including a Camper Appreciation BBQ, a Fan Zone for the fans on race days, fun concerts to entertain your teenagers😉 and more than one race!

But the highlight of our weekend was getting to particpate in the Laps for Charity event where we got to drive the truck out on the track and go super fast! It really is a race truck! 😂

There are a ton of options for camping at the Atlanta Motor Speedway from tenting, to dry camping, to partial and full-hook up RV spots. Some campgrounds are around the outside of the track while other dry-camping options are on the infield! Staying in one of the campgrounds allows you to experience the track at all times of the day which is one of our favorite parts of camping at events. Getting to hang out with the other campers at night was the best!

Many of you know that we have family in the area, and one of the best parts about being in one of the premium campsites is the extra tickets that you get with your site, so we were able to host family during Sunday’s race and that made our anniversary celebration even more special.

NOTE: If you do make it to a race, don’t walk on the paint! 😂

We could not have planned a better end to our celebration week. Thanks, NASCAR, for making our bucket list adventure come true! This was our first time camping at a race, but it will definitely NOT be our last!
