In our last days on the ranch, we head up the mountain to stay for a few nights at one of their cabins on the property. It is like a mini vacation!

We check out an old homestead near the cabin and are amazed thinking of the resiliency and endurance those who used to live there must of had. And what a beautiful and simple life they must have lead. Hard, but simple.

It is very similar reasoning as to why we chose to live this lifestyle. We wanted a simpler life that we had more control over and that allowed us more time together.

We get the rig packed up, and Corey washes the truck which, of course, means it must rain! We make it back to a Walmart for the first time in a month and stock up for the next adventure!

This episode is dedicated to Spencer, the best ranch dog we have ever known, who passed away this summer. We love and miss you, Spence!
