A historic G5 magnetic storm has swept across the country and planet in what is considered one of the strongest solar storms ever measured. This storm produced huge flares and multiple Coronal Mass Ejections (CME) over the course of the past 24 hours. Northern lights were visible as far south as Cuba and the Bahamas as well as in major US cities that normal aren't able to see them because of the light pollution. This was part of that storm in one of the earlier CME's that made impact around 10PM CDT.
