Why “Eating Clean” Is Making You Binge

“Eating clean” often sounds like the solution, but for many women, it actually keeps the cycle going.

When you’re restricting, labeling foods as “good” or “bad,” or trying to be perfect all day, it usually backfires.

Your body gets hungrier, food noise gets louder, and by the end of the day, it can feel like all control disappears.

Bingeing isn’t a lack of discipline, it’s often a response to restriction, both physically and mentally.

Real change comes from building consistency, flexibility, and a more neutral relationship with food, not more rules.
