Eurovision 1962 - Switzerland

Jean Philippe's second appearance at the contest (he'd represented France in 1959, finishing 3rd) was less successful than his first - 10th place with 2 points - although, to be honest, I personally like this memorable dramatic ballad more than "Oui, Oui, Oui, Oui". I'm not a big fan of his performance, though... Btw, the song's writers, Géo Voumard and Émile Gardaz, wrote quite a few of the early Swiss entries, including the contest's very first winner "Refrain" - and would also come very close to winning the following year with the excellent "T'En Vas Pas".
