Eurovision 1972 - Ireland

Ireland's one and only attempt to send a song in Gaelic instead of English was also their least successful entry to date, only achieving 15th place (their lowest-ever placing until 1989). Quite unfairly, IMO, since I find this to actually be a very nice ballad with the Gaelic lyrics sounding beautifully and a lovely performance by Sandie (and isn't she just adorable?)
