India Government DELETES DANGEROUS Sanchar Saathi App Requirement #shorts

Recently, the Indian government withdrew its earlier order that had made the Sanchar Saathi app mandatory for certain users. The decision came after confusion and public concern about whether people were being forced to install the app on their mobile phones.

Sanchar Saathi is a government initiative aimed at helping citizens track, block, and manage mobile connections issued in their name. The platform allows users to check how many mobile numbers are linked to their identity and report any suspicious connections.

Earlier, an advisory created the impression that downloading and using the Sanchar Saathi app was compulsory. This led to criticism and concerns about privacy and forced compliance. In response, the government clarified that using the app is completely voluntary and that citizens can also access Sanchar Saathi services through the official website if they wish.

The government explained that the intention was never to make the app mandatory, but to encourage people to use it as a safety tool. After the clarification, the mandatory wording in the order was withdrawn to avoid further misunderstanding.
