Guadalcanal Diary - T.R.O.U.B.L.E. - Capri Theatre, Atlanta, Ga. 10/24/86

My first youtube upload was "Country Club Gun" from this show https://youtu.be/epoNUc8DaJ0. It was in support of Jamboree, the band's first proper release on Elektra Records. A tribute to a subject most of us can identify with, T.R.O.U.B.L.E. was a crowd favorite with sing-along and dynamic action. Video is taken from the balcony of the Capri Theatre with my old Panasonic VHS camera. I think our friend Mike Webb is doing the honors. Audio is surprisingly good - just camera mic and a little eq in FCPX. Sparse nature of this piece showcases John Poe's style/technique, especially during Jeff Walls' solo. Turn up and grab your ankles.
