Welcome to another day trip with Daz and friend Tony. It's that time again to get the tinsel out. And to celebrate the festive season we've come to the Devon city of Exeter.
In the shadow of Exeter Cathedral, we join in the fun of the Christmas Market. Here we sample mulled wine and cider and check out the great food on offer, not to mention trying as much as possible the free samples on offer.
We visit the 'Winter Wonderland' in the famous Northernhay Gardens. And we find out the history of 'Rougemont Castle'. There's history a plenty too in the hight street, including the 'Guild Hall' and the famous 'Turks Head' pub.
And perhaps the best thing is when we squeeze through the worlds narrowest street, 'Parliament Street' - it really is very narrow! We take a birds eye view of the Cathedral and we don't hold off on sampling the beer in the city's pubs!
Exeter is a city that weaves together its rich history with modern life. As the county town of Devon, it is a gateway to the Jurassic Coast and Dartmoor National Park, offering a blend of natural beauty and cultural experiences.
