Fussy Eater? Use these 4 Italian Phrases ❌ 🍕

Are you a fussy eater? Don't want to offend your Italian hosts? Here are 4 polite Italian expressions you can use! Andiamo
If you don't eat something say: "Non mangio...", which literally means "I don't eat..." then you just add the food name at the end. For example, “Non mangio carne” or “Non mangio la pasta”.

But what if you want to gently decline something?

Just say, "Grazie, ma sono a posto", which means "Thank you, but I'm fine". Politeness is key!

And if you're full?

Then say "Sono sazio" if you're a man, or "Sono sazia" for a woman, meaning "I'm full".

Here’s a memory hook tip, think of the English word ‘satisfied’ or ‘sated’ to help you remember the word ‘sazio’.

Finally, want to give a compliment about the meal, but can't eat another bite?

Say: "È delizioso! Ma non posso mangiare di più." - "It's delicious! But I can't eat any more."
