Chunky, gooey, chewy, chocolatey and delicious. My take on Levain Bakery famous cookies.

Having fallen in love with this bakery's cookies when I lived in NY in early 2000. I had to try to make these incredible cookies. After many attempts I think I've come close to it. Not like theirs but pretty close. Give it a go you will love them and if in NY go visit them.

What you'll need
1 cup Cold Butter cut into small cubes
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/2 cups Cake Flour*
1 1/2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Cornstarch
3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
3/4 teaspoon Salt
2 cups Chocolate Chips
2 cups Walnuts roughly chopped
Eat well Live well
