[100mph Streamliner Madness!] Southern Pacific GS-3 VS PRR T1, N&W Class J, Dreyfuss Hudson - Trainz

Before another viewer request race, we would like to compare the capability of some popular steam engine of the States, including one of my favorite: The Southern Pacific GS-3 "Daylight" engine! 😎

Southern Pacific GS-3 "Golden State" type 4-8-4 steam engine was an upgraded version of the GS-2. The class was praised as the "Cadillacs" of steam power by the crews. The horsepower and tractive effort of GS-3 were upgraded form 👉GS-2's 4500hp, 75950lbs to 👉5000hp, 76650lbs (with booster), the size of the driving wheel increased from 👉73.5 inches (diameter) to 80" inches. Design top speed was also raised from 👉90mph/145kph to 106mph/171kph! A very ideal spec for an express steam engine wasn't it?😉

In this video, the GS-3 is challenged different types of engines at different gradient, including the 😎 6500hp PRR T1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" engine, 😎New York Central's superstar the Dreyfuss Hudson (4-6-4), and the renowned N&W Class J (4-8-4)😎! 👉Please don't miss the 100mph crazy race ( 38:55) in the last part of this video! Thank you for watching and support! 😘
