How to write a sea shanty - Ship Shape and Bristol Fashion

It's awesome to see sea shanties take off this year! Only a few weeks into 2021 and it's already better than last year :)

In this video I write a sea shanty on the fly while talking about how to do it/my thought process. I only get as far as a verse and the chorus, as I did it all in about 3 1/2 hours (eidted down for this video).

I tackle lyrics, time signature/rhythm, chords and melody.
