Stan Rogers!
Stan Rogers is arguably the most underrated folk musician of the 1970s. He had it all: the voice, the lyrics, the songs and the attitude. Tragically, he died at the age of 33 in a plane crash at his creative peak.
Luckily for us though, he left us a brilliant body of folk music, ranging from sea shanties to traditional ballads - all brilliantly performed and recorded. In this episode I talk to my brother about Stan's musicianship, and the skills of those who recorded with him.
