Malaysian Sukhoi SU-30s and U.S. Navy F/A-18s over the USS Theodore Roosevelt in new video

SOUTH CHINA SEA (April 2021) – Aircraft from Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11 and the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) fly above the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group. The Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
The Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group is seen as it transits in formation with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group in the South China Sea. The Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group, Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Port Royal (CG 73) are conducting expeditionary strike force operations during their deployments to the 7th Fleet area of operations. As the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed fleet, 7th Fleet routinely operates and interacts with 35 maritime nations while conducting missions to preserve and protect a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
