DON'T BE AFRAID BE A FREAK! Please like and subscribe to our channel. This abandoned mine is from 1829 and is located along the Chattahoochee river in Helen, Ga. It use to be a tourist trap where you could pan for gold and walk in the mine. The mine and and the surrounding area has been left abandoned for a few years now. It's not hard to find. There are 3 mine portals in this area. We found 1 barred up, then walked to another and walk through it. Then go up some stairs to the next mine/cave, that doesn't go very far.
