Lioness VS Warthog
Warthogs are fearless and ruthless animals capable of causing mayhem. But how do they do against the jungle's elite? Do they have a chance against a lioness? Of course, the warthog is not mentally challenged and will not approach any lion with the goal of attacking it! If the lioness attacks, the warthog will first try to escape or just defend itself if it has no other choice. To survive such a conflict, the warthog will need a lot of luck, which will almost certainly not be enough, as you can see in this video. The chase is on, as a lioness is in pursuit of a warthog in the open field. Even though lions are not cheetahs when it comes to speed, they are fast, so the feline catches up to the warthog and defeats it in the tall grass.
When two lionesses snatch a tiny piglet simultaneously, they almost break it in half until one of the felines lets go and leaves the dead piglet to the other lioness. In this video, a buffalo was killed about 75 yards from the tent of wildlife enthusiasts on a Safari. The lion pride feasted on the carcass, which was moved another one hundred yards further away. Hyenas finished off the remains. The lions kept an eye on the onlookers as they consumed the buffalo before they spotted a warthog thinking it was a nosy hyena and it didn't take long for three of the lions to dismantle the warthog. Two lionesses ambush a warthog in the Masai Mara and once the felines get their big paws on the animal, even though he fights hard to free himself, the hunt is over within seconds.
Lioness VS Cheetah
Cheetahs are easy prey for lions and hyenas, but baby cheetahs are particularly vulnerable. Because of lion predation, cheetah cub survival in East Africa's Serengeti plains is only around 5%. It’s not because lions hate cheetahs more than other animals, but if given the chance, they will kill one without thinking twice, especially if it is a simple kill. In this video, a cheetah caught a gazelle, and a lioness heard the commotion from a few meters away, so it immediately attacked the cheetah to steal its kill. The cheetah was lucky the gazelle was there, or things could have been much worse. This lioness ambushes two young cheetah brothers.
One manages to escape, and the other one fights for his life, but it’s not enough. The lioness is way bigger and more powerful, and she finishes the cheetah off in seconds. It’s no contest! I know it’s part of nature but seeing the lioness holding the dead cheetah is disturbing. This cheetah mom's strategy is to make the lioness chase her, so she keeps the large feline away from her cubs, which she succeeds in doing marvelously, and when the lioness doesn't leave, the Mara rangers intervene and scare the lioness away.
