Vegan Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe | MOUTHWATERING VEGAN TV

I’ve yet to meet somebody that doesn’t like spaghetti bolognese, and this vegan version gives no-one the excuse to insist they make theirs with meat, because this one tastes even better than the original – actually way, way better ! Tried and tested so many times over on friends and family, it’s my daughter Zara’s absolute favourite. So line the pasta up, and let’s get smart in the kitchen !

INGREDIENTS
1½ cups vegan minced meat substitute /vegan ground crumble
1 large onion
3 cloves garlic
¾ tsp curry powder
½ tsp coriander seeds
¼ tsp aniseed
1-2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
salt to taste
2 to 3 bay leaves
olive oil
1 stick of celery
½ cup red wine
1 Tbsp miso
1 Tbsp tomato puree
500g tomato pulp/passata
1½ cups of lentils (precooked) – I used a tin
