Serious Review:
I didn’t like the beginning at all, really. There wasn’t enough ammo for me to have fun. It would have been much better if I’d known to activate certain stages of the fights early to instigate infighting. The low ammo for me in the beginning stages started to create a “superstition” where I didn’t want to use my big guns in certain fights, making them go worse. Once I realized that ammo was a lot more plentiful later on, I started to use the big boys again.

I liked some of the bigger, later fights, but I really didn’t like a lot of the early stuff. There were a lot of traps and surprise archviles and stuff like that. I hated the distant hell knights in one section that sniped me while I was trying to deal with 2 archviles. I also pressed a secret switch at one point and could never find where it went to.
