This was one of the worst runs I’ve ever had on this map. Everything that went wrong went wrong. I had the worst luck in almost all of the infights. Strategies that were consistent for me before somehow failed to work this time. Chiefly of these was the unbelievably shitty clean-up I had to do on the fourth big fight.

For those wondering what I’m talking about, I decided to use this video as a practice run for the max I’ve been working on. My goal is sub-30, here I got 31 something.

I fell a lot on the platforming part, but that’s because I had worked out a smooth, one take strat that is too difficult for me to implement in a run. I tried to do it one motion, but I ended up switching to the safe strat when I started to fall a lot.

I also switched to 60 fps recording rather than 120 fps, to see if that eliminated the skipping that frequently happens in my videos. I think it helped at least a little.

Serious Review:
I’d like to think my max of this map makes it look easier than it is, but this is one of the hardest maps in the entire WAD. Probably the third hardest. There’s a lot of bullshit RNG moments in here. It’s hard for me to be fair when reviewing this map because I’ve played it over 400 times and I’m pretty sick of it.

However, I do know it used to be my favorite in the WAD, so there’s that. The fights can be really gratifying to learn, strategize, and pull off, so that’s a plus. Visuals are really cool too, like most of the other maps in this WAD. I think I’ll give it a 9, but if you asked me a few good months ago, maybe it would be a 9.5.
