This is probably the map that everyone's been waiting for. It's the first seriously hard map in the WAD. In the final fight, I forgot to pay attention to the cyber and got lucky with not getting hit by rockets. Since these maps are long, I'll also do my regularly scheduled description.

Serious Review:
Probably one of the most infamous maps out there. This map has been the object of vilification for many anti-slaughter folks out there. Lots of people hate the "sudden" difficulty spike (I guess we'll just forget about map20, the end of map15, map32, and maps 21 and 22).

While I'm not opposed to people saying they don't like slaughter, a good portion of the complaints I hear about maps like these are something along the lines of "more revanants = bad." Placing a lot of monsters in a map doesn't make it suddenly bad. There's gotta be a deeper reason than that. Some complaints I can understand are "the monster placement forces you to camp" or "I think placing a lot of monsters ruins the atmosphere" or maybe just "I don't like to be challenged in this way." Anything but the age old "it's just BFG spam."

As for myself, I really think this is a fun map. The fights can get campy, but it's fun to rush in and grab the bull by the horns. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the final fight. I didn't do it here, but you can just use infinite height rocket launcher splash to kill all the revenants, which is not fun. I also think the fight is a little awkward.
