STEREO WIDTH REVERB TIP 👀

☝🏼 One thing I like to automate is the width of reverb effects...
🎛 Instead of keeping a reverb fully stereo throughout the whole mix

👉🏼 I prefer to use a stereo width plugin and reduce it by 50% in certain areas

🤔 This technique creates a much more interesting sound,

🎤 Especially during a chorus build up or on a vocal

🤏🏼 Narrowing a reverb down can create tension,

🔊 Ultimately making for a BIGGER sound

⚡️ And giving a much more energetic feel when you open the reverb back up again
