COMPRESSOR COCKTAIL 🍹

This compression tip will give your tracks a tight bass and a gluey top end 👌🏼

1️⃣ Grab yourself a multiband compressor

2️⃣ Start your crossover at around 150 hertz

3️⃣ Make your adjustments so that it's controlling and holding onto the low end

4️⃣ Add another compressor after it that's going across the whole mix
You'll be controlling the low end with one, and the whole mix with the other

This will give you a lovely tight low end, as well as a super smooth top
This is different from using a sidechain detection point on the main compressor

We want to hold onto the low end and manipulate it so we can make it fast and tight, compared to the main compression 👍🏼
