German government spokesperson Steffen Seibert commented about the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh and the attack of a Jewish citizen in Hamburg in a weekly press briefing on Monday.
On recent clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh, Seibert called for both sides of the dispute to end military actions, which has seen the death of more than 200 people.
''It is to be welcomed that Armenia has shown its willingness to negotiate within the frameworks of the OSCE Minsk and we call on Azerbaijan to seize this offer for talks now,'' Seibert added.
The spokesperson condemned the attack of a Jewish citizen in Hamburg, saying that ''every single one of these attacks is a disgrace'' in the German society.
Seibert also spoke about the accreditation of foreign journalists which were revoked by the Belarusian government saying that the federal government ''utterly condemns'' the withdrawal of the accreditation.
Seibert described the meeting between German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya which is expected to happen tomorrow in Berlin as a way of ''dialogue'' to hear the demands of the opposition in the country.
