Protesters who gathered to challenge the parliamentary election results seized the parliament building in Bishkek, Tuesday.
Drone footage from outside the building shows dozens of people next to the building where the parliament and the presidential administration are located. Protesters are seen entering the building and opening the windows to put out the flags.
Another part of protesters was seen gathered at the Bishkek's main Ala-Too Square, which is located across the road.
According to the Kyrgyz Health Ministry, 130 injured were hospitalised following the Monday clashes in Bishkek, including a number of law enforcement officers.
Preliminary results showed that only four parties in Sunday's parliamentary election crossed the 7 percent election threshold to be part of the 120-seat legislature. The only opposition party which got representation in the parliament was Butum Kyrgyzstan with 7.13 percent of the vote, according to the Central Election Committee. The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe's (OSCE) election-monitoring team said in its preliminary report that there were credible concerns over vote-buying and other irregularities in the electoral process.
